(Casa de Ninos (House of Children) Tepic, Mexico)
The dates
we were at the Casa was from November 14-21, 2005.
We painted, rebuilt walls, landscaping, built stairs and repaired
sidewalks. Each night we had a special time with the children, singing
and playing games.
We ministered to the staff members, mostly single moms, in prayer and
songs. We had a party for the children with games
and a pinata and a bon fire where we roasted hot dogs and made s'mores.
By the end we felt like the commercial, "It was the toughest job,
you'll ever love."
