Q: Why Do We Clap Our Hands?

“O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with a
voice of triump. (Psalm 47:1)

Why Do We
Stand To Sing?
A:
“And the Levites…stood up to praise the Lord
God of Israel with a loud voice on high.” (2Chronicles 20:19)

Why Do We
Raise Our Hands?
A:
“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the
Lord.”
(Psalm 134:2)
Q: Why Does
Everyone Pray At Once?
A:
“And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to
God with one accord.” (Acts4:24)

Sing In Tongues & In English?

“For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind
is unfruitful. So what will I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I
will also pray with my mind. I will sing with my spirit, but I will
also sing with my mind.” (I Corinthians 14:14-15)

Sing Choruses As Well As Hymns?

“Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual
songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.”
(Ephesians 5:19)

Have Musical Instruments, Dancing and “Glory
Rings”?

“Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with
the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise
Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud
cymbals; praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.” (Psalm
150:3-5)

Have Speaking In Tongues & Interpretations?

“Now to each one the manifestation
of the Spirit is given
for the common good…to another speaking in different kinds
of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of
tongues.” (I Corinthians 12:7, 10)

common good, to another, gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to

any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let
