Q: Why Do We Clap Our Hands?

A: “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with a voice of triump. (Psalm 47:1)


Q: Why Do We Stand To Sing?

A: “And the Levites…stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.” (2Chronicles 20:19)
 

Q: Why Do We Raise Our Hands?

A: “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.”
(Psalm 134:2)


Q: Why Does Everyone Pray At Once?

A: “And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord.” (Acts4:24)


Q: Why Do We Sing In Tongues & In English?

A: “For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. So what will I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.” (I Corinthians 14:14-15)
